Even if the self-isolation period is still on, here at bitB Spins we have a lot of amazing news that comes to break the boredom and routine.

Today we have prepared for you a FLASH INTERVIEW with one of our $100 Spin & Go players: Vladu90.

Our Romanian guy had a rapid ascent and he reached the $100 stake in only 8 months after joining bitB Spins stable. He is now one of the dangerous sharks that are ready to stick their fangs into any bleeding prey.

Beware of Vladu90!

bitB Spins: Hello, hero and congratulations about reaching the $100 stake! We are happy to have you here among us. For those who don’t know too much about your past as a poker player can you please tell us a few things about you and your poker background?

Vladu90: Hello, beasts! My first contact with poker was in 2006 when I was part of a group of 4-5 guys and we were organizing small home games. I never treat it seriously until 2012 when I decided to give it a try and to make poker a full-time job so I started playing $1- 9man hyper Sit & Go’s and in a relatively short time, I managed to climb up to the $100 stake and establish myself there. Due to some circumstances, I’ve had a break from poker from 2016 to September 2019 when I joined the BitB spins group.

bitB Spins: Why did you decide to choose the Spin & Go format?

Vladu90: It was an easy decision to choose the Spin & Go format because I am the father of a 3-year-old boy and having the freedom to choose what time I want to grind was mandatory. Also, by having the hyper SNG’s background my decision to choose spins came more naturally instead of choosing cash games or another poker format.

bitB Spins: What do you think is the hardest moment in the career of a poker player? Which one was in your case?

Vladu90: Probably the hardest moments in a poker player’s career are the downswings and how do you manage to get over them.

For me, it was at the end of 2015 when after 350-400 BI’s downswing I started to think that maybe it was time to move forward and try something different than poker, and this was what I did, but it ended up not being my best decision.

bitB Spins: What is your strategy for improving your game?

Vladu90: bitB Spins stable is offering me everything I need for Improving my game. There is a great video library, daily coachings, a Solution Browser, and a hand discussions channel on Discord. I’m trying to get as much as I can from all of these.

bitB Spins: On what do you focus the most? Strategy, mindset, etc?

Vladu90: Nowadays, poker players should be like athletes, so every little aspect is equally important. Personally, anytime I feel that I’m lacking at any of these areas, I am watching a video or I review my notes in order to get back on track.

bitB Spins: What is your daily poker routine?

Vladu90: My daily poker routine has suffered some big changes since the Covid-19 situation, but on a normal day I am playing 45-60 minutes sessions depending on how I feel and I try to get to a total of 7-8h of grind. I’m also trying to take part in the daily coachings and I do a review of my biggest lost pots at the end of the day.

bitB Spins: Which are your current goals?

Vladu90: One of my goals, when I joined bitB Spins in September last year, was to reach $100’s until May 2020 and it happened just in time. Now I want to establish myself here and make nice some nice profit. I still have a volume goal, but I’m a little bit slow here because I am not really able to play more than 3 tables at once. I hope to add one more table and by doing this to become comfortable in order to get closer to my goal.

Vladu90:For me it was not hard to accommodate this situation and I really tried to make the best of it. I sent my boy to his grandparents and this I was able to focus 100% on poker and self-improvement. I managed to implement some good habits in my daily routine like meditation, workout, reading, healthy eating and all of these really helped me at the tables.  Having a clear mind and body has definitely paid off.

Vladu90: The field was softer during all these days. With extended periods of time I was able to play more during the morning (EET time zone) when usually the tables are full of regulars and to finish my grind day before 18:00. Unfortunately, after 18:00 the Romanian server was too laggy and I couldn’t play anymore.

Vladu90: I’m a former professional alpine skier so skiing has become my main hobby since I have retired. However, I am a sportsman and I’m into every kind of sport. I like watching and practicing as well.

Vladu90: I think everyone should make time and play as much as they can during these times, taking full advantage of the softer fields. We don’t know if the games will ever be as good as they are now.
